Answers to the questions people ask most before booking a live Final Cut Pro class. Don’t see yours? Ask me directly.

Can I get Final Cut Pro help online?

Yes. Every class is a live, one-to-one session over Zoom. You share your screen, I watch what you’re doing in Final Cut Pro, and we fix problems together in real time. You can join from anywhere with a Mac and an internet connection.

Do I need my own project?

It helps, but it isn’t required. Most students bring the video they’re already working on, so the hour goes straight to their real problems. If you’re just starting out, we can begin with some test footage and build up the basics.

I’m a complete beginner. Is this for me?

Absolutely. Classes are paced to your level, whether you’ve never opened Final Cut Pro or you’re an experienced editor stuck on one specific issue. Students have ranged from 8 to 88 years old.

What can we cover in one hour?

Usually one or two focused problems, such as cleaning up audio, getting comfortable in the timeline, fixing a stubborn export, or setting up multicam. Many students book two or three classes to move a whole project forward.

How much does a class cost?

A one-hour class is $199. Booking two classes saves 20% ($318.40 total) and three classes saves 30% ($417.90 total).

What do I need before class?

A Mac with Final Cut Pro installed (the free trial works too), Zoom, and a stable internet connection. Have your library open and a short list of what you’d like to work on. See how my classes work for details.

Can I reschedule or cancel?

Yes. Please see the cancellation policy for the details.
